The company was established in Caldogno in 1925 continuing a business that had been suspended because of WWI. In 1960, the company changed into Arclinea Cucine Componibili where ARC is an acronym for Arredamento Razionale Componibile (i.e. Modular Rational Furnishing) and the artisan manufacturing activity moved to a serial production.
Today Arclinea is a company offering unique kitchens, tastefully fitting modern life requirements with elegance and innovation; it is an internationally known brand with points of sale all over the world.

Starting from the first project in 1988 called Italia and passing through Florida, Ginger, Artusi and Convivium, Arclinea kitchens followed an evolution path: from professional kitchens to convivial settings, from metamorphic to the last creation, Spatia, a kitchen perfectly integrating with the living area.
Antonio Citterio is professor of Design at the Accademia di Architettura dell'Università della Svizzera Italiana and works with important companies such as B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Guzzini, Inda, Kartell, Maxalto and Vitra.
